Cambrils Park Resort is a first class bungalow park with the best of modern comforts and services available on the Costa Dorada. ACCOMMODATION
Catered accommodation comprises breakfast and evening meal, Monday to Friday, and brunch on Saturday and a lunch on Sunday and all meals are served in the new dedicated restaurant on the lower floor whilst there are snack making facilities in each hall floor area.
CAMPUS AND SPORTS TRAINING FACILITIES
New State of the art Gym
The gym in UCD Sport & Fitness overlooks the pool and is home to over 150 pieces of the highest standard equipment. The gym, which occupies 850m2, is more than twice the size of the gym space previously available on campus in UCD. This is complimented with a spinning room and a dance studio with floating floor.
The Spin Room & Dance Studio:
The Dance studio is a fantastic sprung floor studio with a pile-bar, which overlooks the pool. The spinning room is used primarily for spinning as the name suggests but with a large storage area off it, can be used for other classes such as pilates, boxercise, aerobics etc.
Olympic 50m swimming pool
The 10-lane 50-metre pool at the centre of the complex includes adjustable floors to alter depth and a dividing wall for split usage.
For those who are more interested in pleasure than hard work, a sauna, steam room, tepidarium and jacuzzi are included.
Grass Pitches and Training Facilities
There are 12 natural grass-playing pitches at Belfield. The premier grounds include the UCD Bowl and Devlin Park. UCD Bowl, opened for the UCD Soccer club following the redevelopment in March 2008. It is a shared facility, which provides a high-quality outdoor sports arena for soccer and rugby. In developing the facility, which serves both codes, UCD is endeavoring to deliver a quality venue which complies with UEFA licensing and IRB standards with regard to playing surface quality and spectator comfort and safety. In addition, sports lighting infrastructure is in place in order to accommodate evening events at the Bowl. The UCD Bowl received the 2009 FAI “Sportsground of the Year”.
